Yoono : A Great All Social Networks Client

Posted by Panji Nushantara | Sunday, March 28, 2010

Still looking for a fit for all desktop app to un-clutter your many Social Network accounts? If Gwibber doesn't satisfy your, then you have to try Yoono.
Yoono comes in three flavors for Windows, Mac and Linux.
I install both Linux and Windows version in my Ubuntu box. Yoono runs well under Wine too, so if you want the just-click-to-install comfort you can pick the Windows version, the Linux's comes in tar.bz2 not a .deb we all love.
I got to be honest, I install the .exe first then tar.bz2 extension.
To install the .tar.bz2 all you have to do is extract the content to your preferred folder and run (double-click) the executable yoono-desktop file. Easy.
After installation and now your Yoono is up and running just add your social networks, the process is easy and self -explanatory. Read here for detailed article about Yoono.

I use it for Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo! Messenger. It also support MySpace, Flickr, FriendFeed, Linkedin, MSN, AIM, GTalk for now.
I have to admit, I love this app.
